WE ARE STORYTELLERS

We strive to create pieces that are not only stylish but practical and environmentally friendly. Our entire concept is centered on versatility and resourcefulness; finding new uses for the things we already have.

We seek to find the beauty in ordinary things;

thank you for helping us realize this vision.

WHO WE ARE

CULT GOODS has had several iterations over the years but our heart has always been about using your hands and your imagination to take what you have and make something new;

something better.

CULT GOODS was created by me, Whitney K Edenfield. Like my brand, I have had many lives;

I am a metalsmith, a jeweler, a licensed esthetician, an event planner, a home remodeler, and above all, a maker. My husband Adam Scarbrough is a welder by trade and he assists in the business with metal fabrication, logistics, and moral support.

I began making brass and copper jewelry and home decor in 2010 under the name Mirabilia. In 2017 I added skincare and soy wax candles as The Oracle. In 2018 I began selling vintage and handmade furniture as The Southern Oracle Trading Co. And in 2022, all these various ideas and interests coalesced into our current form: CULT GOODS.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The spaces we create say a lot about who we are and what we value in life.

They may change over time, as we change and grow, but our sense of self and personal style are two parts of a whole.

Of all the places we dwell,

it is especially important that in our home, our sanctuary, different elements of our identity can intertwine and be at peace. The objects we surround ourselves with in this space remind us of where we've been and inspire who we want

to become.

At CULT GOODS we believe that

modern can be joyful and eclectic can be comforting.

Like our personalities,

our homes can contain multitudes;

Form and function are not be opposing sides but also two parts of a whole.

So the question becomes:

What do you want your home to say about you?

Let us help you tell your story.

WHITNEY K EDENFIELD

OWNER + DESIGNER

I grew up on an island off the coast of Georgia, the salt marshes and palmetto forests were the only home I'd ever known; climbing trees, building forts, and finding treasures everywhere I looked. I carry those experiences with me as I make my way in this world, passing them on to my children and teaching them that anywhere can be home if you make it your own.
